Colleges

Over the years our swimmers have gained the interest from several collegiate programs across the nation. The links below reflect those schools where our past and current swimmers compete, the coach, and swimmer(s) who have made contact, as well as colleges that have sent an inquiry to swimmers from our program. Current TNT swimmers should feel comfortable contacting any of our members listed, and visit the school's webpage for additional information. Additionally, should there be interest in the school, our swimmers are encouraged to complete the college questionnaire, should one exist.

One of the earlier steps in the college recruiting process involves completing the college questionnaire. This is typically a form specific to each college where perspective swimmers provide the institution general information about them, including contact information and times. The "questionnaire," or recruiting profile, does not suggest any commitment from the athlete to the college, but is only one way to indicate that the swimmer is considering the program. Athletes are encouraged to complete the questionnaire of any program where they have an interest. Although a swimmer can complete a questionnaire at any time, it is most common that these be completed during, and after, their junior year of high school.

NCAA Eligibility Center

Also among the earlier steps in the recruiting process for any NCAA program is enrollment into the NCAA Eligibility Center. This is a requirement, and programs often require students to be enrolled prior to any serious discussion about recruiting. The Eligibility Center (formerly referred to as the NCAA Clearinghouse) document course completion that helps ensure students are taking the correct courses in high school as they prepare for college. If students do not complete the correct courses, they may not be eligible to enroll into their desired school, much less swim for them. Swimmers and families are strongly encouraged to visit the NCAA Eligibility Center website gain familiarity to academic expectations for the various NCAA divisions of schooling. Swimmers and parents can check on the list of  "coure courses" that their high schools have availalbe.
